Sesame Low Carb Bread



  • 4 eggs
  • 200g cream cheese
  • 4 Tbs olive oil
  • 225g almond meal or almond flour
  • 2 Tbs psyllium husks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Sesame seeds and sea salt for the top.


Beat the eggs until fluffy. Add the cream cheese and oil and mix together well.

Add the rest of the ingredients (apart from the seeds and second measure of salt). Mix to a (fairly wet) batter, then spread the dough on baking paper on a baking tray. It doesn’t spread as it cooks and I made mine about 3cm thick.

Stand for 5 minutes then brush with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sea salt.  

Bake at 200g C for about 30 minutes or until golden brown on top and cooked through.

Great with soup!
