Almost Instant Low Fat Chocolate Pudding


For 1 (Microwave)


  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (slightly underfill the spoon)

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa (slightly rounded)

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • Low fat yoghurt – about 2-3 tablespoons

  • 1 tablespoon berries – frozen are fine (optional)

  • Few drops vanilla essence (optional)


Sift the flour, cocoa and soda, add the sugar and enough yoghurt to mix to smooth batter.  Stir the berries in.

Place in a 1 cup ramekin (or similar microwave proof container) and cook on high for about 80 seconds.  It may take longer – cook until the centre just loses it’s wet look, but don’t overcook. You can keep zapping it if it isn’t quite cooked at first.
