Low Carb, High (Healthy) Fat Salad


For the fat part of the salad choose from:

  • Avocado
  • Olive or avocado oil
  • Cheese – high fat, not Edam
  • Full fat mayo or aioli – made with olive oil – NOT soy, canola or other oils
  • Full fat cream cheese

Protein ideas:

  • Smoked salmon
  • Hard boiled eggs
  •  Chicken
  • Meat
  • Haloumi


  • Some kind of greens
  • Mushrooms cooked on the BBQ or grill and then topped with blue cheese whilst hot
  • ‘above the ground’ veggies
