Low Carb Cheese Baskets


Grate any kind of cheese, or a mixture of different types.

Place piles of about 3-4 Tbs on a baking paper lined tray.  3-4 per tray.  Bake at 180 degrees C for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is nice and golden brown.  Remove from the oven and let sit for about a minute.  Using a fish slice, carefully lift the still hot and pliable ‘crisp’ off the baking paper and gently press over the base of a pre-sprayed glass or similar.  Leave to cool and firm up.
Experiment with different sized ones.  Fill with salad/veggies and a fat(s), e.g. sour cream, avocado smash, chopped chicken mixed with mayo, etc.
