Lamb Meatballs with Cauliflower Rice & Cheesy Mushrooms

Lamb Meatballs

Serves 4


  • 500g lamb mince
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ tsp dried rosemary
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 1 slice bread made into breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper
Leggo's Passata Sauce


Mix all ingredients together well and form into balls.  I got 23 balls out of the mixture.
Spray a pan or BBQ plate with cooking spray and cook, turning, until just cooked.
I served mine on top of fried cauliflower rice and used a jar of Passata warmed through, poured over. 
Serve with additional veggies.


Cheesy Mushrooms


  • Portobello (or large flat) mushrooms
  • Blue cheese


Partially cook the mushrooms on the BBQ or grill and then add a small slither (thumbnail size piece) of blue cheese and cook until the cheese melts.  Divine!
